Description

What your day will look like….

Your day will be a dynamic mix of clinical consultancy, education, and leadership. You'll work closely with clinicians across various departments, offering expert advice on improving documentation practices and ensuring accurate representation of clinical acuity. Collaborating with health information managers and clinical coders, you'll identify key areas for improvement and develop targeted education sessions for staff. Your ability to assess documentation in real-time will be essential in ensuring the correct coding and optimal diagnosis-related group (DRG) assignment. Leading quality improvement projects and guiding staff through change management processes will be central to your role, alongside mentoring and supporting your colleagues' professional development. Your expertise will drive positive change in how clinical documentation impacts patient care and funding, ensuring a high standard of service across the health system.

  • Integrity – you are open, honest, approachable, equitable and consistent in everything we do.
  • Dignity – you treat others with respect, display reasonableness and take pride in what you do.
  • Innovation – you embrace change and strive to know more, learn more and do better.
