In the latest podcast I spoke with Cesar Limjoco and Mike Kertes to discuss a wide array of topics in CDI. Our goal initially was to discuss the wide-ranging impact AI will have on the CDI profession. Interestingly enough, we digressed making for an interesting podcast. There is no doubt AI will have an upending impact on the CDI profession, requiring the profession to come to terms with that in a few short years there will be less opportunity for CDIS in its current form. Our next podcast will focus on what steps CDI must take and commit to to acquire the requisite skill sets; knowledgebase, and core competencies to adopt and meet the changing landscape of CDI. Situational awareness will be key to the ongoing CDI evolution, otherwise, the CDI profession's relevance will be markedly diminished.
